Leaked photo features LG’s first Windows Phone 8.1 device

LG appears to be developing a new smartphone with the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system on board, Digital Spy said.

The device in question, which features a buttonless design with barely any bezel either size of the screen, was outed by reliable tipster Evleaks.

LG is yet to release a handset running Microsoft's latest mobile OS, but has favoured buttonless designs for its recent flagship phones.

The South Korean firm will unveil its range-topping LG G3 handset on May 27.

An official teaser video for the Android phone was revealed earlier today, offering a glimpse at its QHD display and slender design.

LG is yet to officially confirm that it is working on Windows Phone 8.1 hardware.
