Microsoft has expanded its mobile digital assistant Cortana to four more countries Dec 6, Digital Spy reveals.
The alpha version of Cortana is now available in France, Italy, Germany and Spain as part of the Windows Phone Developer Preview programme.
As the service is in preview mode, some features are missing or coming soon, such as flight tracking and limited transit data.
The company is also withholding reference data for the moment, meaning questions like "How tall is Mount Everest?" won't work just yet.
Cortana will provide information, such as European football scores for Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga, as well as some locally relevant "chit chat".
The four extra countries join the UK and China in preview mode and the full U.S. version.
