Videos uploaded through Twitter are now embeddable externally for the first time, according to Digital Spy.
The microblogging website introduced native video to the service in January, alongside a new group messaging feature.
Videos can currently be captured and uploaded directly from Twitter's Android and iOS apps.
Users were already able to embed tweets with videos from Twitter's sister-service Vine.
However, Twitter's service allows users to film, edit and share 30-second-long video clips in-app compared to the six-second limit offered by Vine.
Video embeds are being rolled out across Twitter from March 3.
