Vessel, a new video service with ambitions to take on YouTube and Vimeo, is now accepting sign-ups from everyone, Digital Spy reveals.
Created by former Hulu CEO Jason Kilar, the platform has been undergoing invitation-only testing for several months ahead of its full launch.
Vessel is free to use online and via an iOS app, but all videos will include pre-roll adverts unless the user signs up for a premium account.
Those who sign up for a monthly subscription will receive ad-free playback and early access to clips from popular internet stars and media outlets.
Launch partners include A&E, Rhett & Link, Unbox Therapy, Warner Music Group, and Fox Sports.
A Vessel premium subscription is priced at $2.99 a month, but users who sign up within the first three days will be gifted a year of unrestricted access for free.
