Apple's hefty iPad Pro tablet could have some serious competition on its hands from a new 4K Windows slate from Dell, according to Digital Spy.
German technology website Giga has brought word of a next-generation Dell XPS 12 tablet – and it sounds like the business.
The 12.5-inch 2-in-1 hybrid device is said to feature a detachable keyboard with backlit keys and a 3,840 x 2,160 pixel display that is close to bezel-free.
With that 4K display on board, the new Dell XPS 12 could pose a greater threat to the iPad Pro than Microsoft's Surface range.
Other specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front snapper, as well as a Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type-C combo port.
The Apple-rivalling Windows slate has been tipped for launch in October.
