Dyson 360 Eye robot vacuum cleaner launches in Japan

Dyson's debut robot vacuum cleaner has launched in Japan with an asking price that will make your wallet shudder, Digital Spy reports.

The Dyson 360 Eye is now available to buy in the technologically advanced nation – assuming you're willing to part with ¥138,000, that is.

For those not up to date with current exchange rates, that puts the automated cleaner around the $1150 mark.

So, what makes this chore-enjoying robot so expensive? Well, the machine's 360-degree sensor system means it can clean every inch of your floor's home (assuming you don't have any steps), while the tank track style controls can easily transition from hard to carpeted floors.
