Jennifer Lopez's cop drama series "Shades of Blue" gets the first trailer. It introduces J.Lo's character named Harlee Santos, a single mother who works as part of a close-knit police unit but is later forced to go against her co-workers, AceShowbiz reports.
The trailer opens with Santos covering for her partner who accidentally shot an innocent guy. Her situation changes when she is caught red-handed taking a bribe. She suddenly finds herself faced with the dilemma of helping FBI catch corrupt cops including her own friends or staying loyal to her cop brothers.
The new series is scheduled to premiere on January 14. Ray Liotta plays Santos' boss who "often leads the team to step outside the limitations of the law in order to effectively protect their precinct and their own." J.Lo's real-life boyfriend Casper Smart has also nabbed a role on the show.
