Slipknot's opening support act for their upcoming UK tour have been unmasked – and they're pretty legendary, Gigwise reports.
The masked metallers will be back in the UK in February next year for a run of huge dates. Having lost members Joey Jordison and Paul Gray in recent years, many feared how they would fare as a live band – but the band have proven just as awesome and terrifying as ever, as proven at Download Festival this summer.
Now, the tour just got a little bigger – with Download and Live Nation boss Andy Copping revealing that it's none other than Suicidal Tendencies.
The thrash icons rose to notoriety in the 80's as leading figureheads of the punk-metal crossover scene.
Slipknot will play: February 8 Cardiff Motorpoint Arena 9 London Alexandra Palace 12 Birmingham Barclaycard Arena 13 Leeds First Direct Arena
January 2016 20 Scandinavium , Gothenburg 21 Blue Water Arena , Esbjerg 24 Hala Gdansk-Sopot (Ergo Arena), Gdansk 26 Stadthalle Vienna , Vienna 27 O2 Arena Prague , Prague
