You might want to mark mid-March in your diaries, as that's when Apple will reportedly unveil the Apple Watch 2 and a new 4-inch iPhone 6C handset, Digital Spy said.
That's according to apparent inside sources speaking with 9to5Mac, who have suggested that new Apple wearables and handsets will make a formal bow in March ahead of an in-store release in early April.
According to the report, Apple has been working on the Apple Watch 2 since well before its debut smartwatch was introduced to the public.
Exactly what new features it will host, however, remain something of a mystery, although an integrated camera, sleep tracking and improved health sensors have all been tipped for the upcoming Moto 360 and Samsung Gear S2 rival.
If accurate, the mid-March unveiling would see the second-gen timepiece land a year after its predecessor was rolled out to the masses.
Joining the Apple Watch 2 on the launch stage will reportedly be a new 4-inch phone, the much mooted iPhone 6C.
This will act as a new entry-point into Apple's smartphone ecosystem, pairing a more affordable plastic body with a variety of colour options.
With the handset set to line up alongside the iPhone 6S and larger iPhone 6S Plus, Apple has yet to comment on the claims.
