Netflix rolls out universal app for Windows 10 devices

Netflix has rolled out a universal app for Windows 10 devices so you can enjoy your favorite shows across all of your Microsoft-powered devices, Digital Spy reports.

At least that's the idea in the long run – right now, it isn't quite ready for smartphones running Windows 10 Mobile.

But users on PC and tablets can take advantage of features such as Cortana voice search and control support, and Live Tiles.

"The new Netflix app is one of the best ways to watch Netflix's vast library of streaming video content from any Windows 10 PC or tablet wherever you are," said Microsoft in a blog post.

"Everything from the sign-in screen to the Netflix browsing experience has been updated to make it smoother, more responsive, and overall easier to use on Windows 10."

The universal Netflix app is winging its way to the Windows Store across the world right now.
