Armenia’s political-military leadership is doing its utmost to have a popular army, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan stated on January 28, Army Day.
As Ohanyan told reports at Yerevan’s military pantheon Yerablur, “[We strive to] become a major army to ensure protection of our people. It is symbolic that we’re all visiting Yerablur today and meeting our comrades-in-arms and their families to congratulate each other.”
The minister added that the national army’s combat readiness allows them to state that the Armenian Army is competitive and victorious.
