The Kills have unveiled a new music video ‘Heart Of A Dog’, as well as announcing a run of new UK tour dates. Gigwise reports.
The track comes from their highly anticipated fifth album, Ash & Ice. The video premiered on the Coachella festival live stream just before the band’s explosive set on Friday, April 15 evening.
The video was directed by Sophie Muller, who worked previously with the band on 'U.R.A Fever', 'Cheap and Cheerful', 'Last Days of Magic' and 'Satellite'.
"It was shot all day and into the night in Los Angeles by our dear friend, the tremendous talent, Sophie Muller," say the band. "We love this video. We love it because it’s fucking fun. Muscle cars and backflips. Palms trees and cacti. Dogs and dice. Neon and sunshine. We hope you love it as much as we do. VROOM VROOM. Love, The Kills"
Ash & Ice will be released on 3 June, following up from 2011’s Blood Pressures.
They've also announced details of a huge UK tour for later in 2016, including a show at The Roundhouse in London.
