The court of first instance of the Arabkir and Kanaker –Zeytun administrative districts sentenced 2 members of the Sasna Tsrer (Daredevils of Sassoun) group – Karabakh war veteran Araik “Lone Wolf” Khandoyan and Varuzhan Avetisyan – to 2 months in jail, according to Tert.am.
Khandoyan and Avetisyan were charged with hostage-taking, illegal acquisition, possession, transportation and carrying of arms.
As was reported earlier, Khandoyan refuses to plead guilty.
