BAKU REMAINING ALLEGIANT TO KARABAKH CONFLICT PEACEFUL SETTLEMENT IMPORTANT FOR YEREVAN

Heydar Aliyev’s statements evidence that Azerbaijan remains an adherent of peaceful solution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and do not give occasion for worrying. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated it when presenting Yerevan’s standpoint on the drastic increase of budget allocations to meet the needs of the armed forces. In the minister’s words, the increase in financing of the Azeri army is a domestic affair of Azerbaijan, but Armenia pays much attention to the position of official Baku. “Azerbaijan remaining allegiant to the idea of peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict is important for us,” – the Armenian foreign ministry head emphasized.
