RULING REPUBLICAN PARTY OF ARMENIA SPEAKS FOR ESTABLISHING RELATIONS WITH TURKEY WITHOUT PRECONDITIONS

The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) speaks for establishing relations with Turkey without any preliminary conditions. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, ruling party leader, Prime Minister Andranik Markarian stated addressing the 8-th conference of the party last Saturday. Particularly, in his words, the RPA does not connect the question of the establishment of the Armenian-Turkish relations with the Armenian Genocide recognition. At the same time the Prime Minister emphasized that irrespective of the fact of establishing relations with Turkey, the republicans would be consecutive in the issue of the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide. Instead of asking Turkey or the world community to recognize the Armenian Genocide the RPA will take all the measures available for the intensification of the Armenian might, after what the country will be able to solve itself all the problems it is concerned about, Markarian noted. In his words, the Armenian Genocide recognition is necessary most of all not for Armenia but for the world community.
