Construction of the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline will be finished late this year. The 204,51 km long pipeline will be brought into operation in November 2008, reported ArmRosgazprom press office.
The pipeline will allow expanding gas delivery and introducing a second technologic input in Armenia.
From 2009, Iran will deliver 1,1 bln cu m of gas to Armenia. From 2019, the amount will reach 2,3 bln cu m per year.
Presently, Armenia can receive no more that 450 mln cu m annually, EnergyLand.info reports.
