My visit to Armenia was already planned half a year ago and is by no means due to exacerbation of the Russian-Georgian relations. Georgian defense minister David Tevzadze stated it upon his arrival in Yerevan. In the Armenian defense minister Serge Sargsian’s words, a protocol to reflect the prospects of cooperation between the defense ministries of the two countries will be signed upon the completion of his Georgian counterpart’s visit. At present experts hold intense deliberations, which will result in determining the priority directions of the Armenian-Georgian cooperation in military sphere.
