ARMENIA – CIS LEADER IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION GROWTH RATE

Armenia became the CIS leader on the industrial production growth rate. Its indicator made 11.9%. CIS Interstate Statistical Committee report for January-July says this. Moldova took the second place – 11.2%, Kazakhstan is the third – 8.9%. The growth of industrial production in Russia constituted 3.9%, 2.1% in Azerbaijan and 1.5% in Georgia. The report also notes that Armenia took the third place in CIS countries in GDP growth rate – 9.7%. The increase of the indicator was the most in Tajikistan – 10.3%.
