The question of Azerbaijan’s accession to NATO depends not only from Baku wishes: fitting the organization criteria is necessary for that. Azeri President Heydar Aliyev stated it at his press conference in Nakhichevan. At the same time he stressed that Baku intended to further cooperate with NATO, developing its relations with the alliance.
