Armenia says situation relatively stable on country’s borders

The situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijan border is relatively stable as of Monday, November 22 noon, the Defense Ministry reports.

According to the Armenian side, Azerbaijan has not resorted to provocations in the reporting period, as well as significant movement of forces and means.

"The Armenian Armed Forces control the situation," the Defense Ministry added.

In clashes launched by Azerbaijan on November 16, the Armenian side has confirmed deaths and injuries, while 13 soldiers have been captured by Azerbaijan. Two combat positions too have gone under the control of Azeri forces, 24 Armenian troops have gone missing.
