Armenia's new president, Vahagn Khachaturyan, will be taking the presidential oath of office on March 13, 10 days after the National Assembly elected him in the post.
The ceremony will be held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, and according to the President's office, preparations are currently underway.
Khachaturyan was elected Armenia's new President on Thursday, March 3 when 71 members of the National Assembly voted in his favor, while the opposition did not participate in the vote.
