Armenia PM due in Moscow on April 19

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will travel to Moscow on Tuesday, April 19 to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin

According to a statement from Kremlin, the two are set to weigh in on the implementation of agreements on the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement, as well as topical issues of further development of Russian-Armenian relations of strategic partnership and alliance.

"The implementation of the agreements reached by the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on Nagorno-Karabakh dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, including measures to restore economic and transport ties in the region, will also be considered," the Russian presidency said earlier.

Pashinyan's trip comes on the heels of a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and President of the European Council Charles Michel in Brussels on April 6. In the Belgian capital, Pashinyan and Aliyev agreed to set up a bilateral border commission by the end of April.
