Armenian conscript Eduard Martirosov has crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani border under unknown circumstances, the Defense Ministry said on April 24.
The previous day, the armed forces lost contact with the serviceman and found out later, through the mediation of the Russian side, that Martirosov was being held by the Azerbaijani side.
The Armenian Defense Ministry said they are taking measured to return the solder home.
