Armenia shifts to weekly Covid-19 data reporting

No new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Armenia on Tuesday, May 3, according to the Armenian Ministry of Health.

“Given that the epidemiological situation has stabilized in the country, the Ministry of Health will from now on publish information about Covid-19 once a week,” the message says.

Armenia is currently using Phizer, AstraZeneca, Sputnik-V, Moderna, SinoPharm and CoronaVac vaccines to inoculate people aged above 18. The vaccination program rolled out across the country in mid-April, with health authorities also setting up mobile vaccination facilities near shopping malls and on major streets in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
