Artificial intelligence will become available to schoolchildren in Armenia with a special program being developed for grades 10-11, MIR 24 reports.
It aims to improve the quality of general mathematical education, programming and computer skills and help high school students decide on their future profession.
The Artificial Intelligence Generation program is a joint initiative of the Science and Technology Foundation of Armenia, as well as the Ministry of Science, Education, Culture and Sports.
“This is a long-term project that aims to create a funnel of educational projects in Armenia, where children from school age to graduate school will have some kind of educational trajectory – how can one choose such a career and, accordingly, study in Armenia in this direction”, said Suzanna Shamakhyan, Vice President for Strategic Programs of the Science and Technology Foundation of Armenia.
As a result of the development of all these components, from September 2023, the program will be tested in 10 schools.
