During a press conference, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the deadline for filling out income declarations has been extended until November 1.
He noted that long queues have formed for obtaining identification cards.
"The queue for ID cards extends until June. We have therefore decided that, for this year, the declaration deadline will be November 1 for everyone. We all tend to act at the last moment—once we realize an ID card is required, we all rush to get it at the same time. Soon, passport offices will be overwhelmed in June, July, and September," Pashinyan stated.
Earlier, it was announced that all salaried employees in Armenia must submit their declarations by May 1.
