During a meeting with European Council President António Costa at the Munich Security Conference, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed key issues related to the Armenia-European Union cooperation agenda.
The Prime Minister emphasized the EU’s continued support for democratic reforms in Armenia, highlighting that the full implementation of the reform agenda remains a top priority for the Armenian government. Pashinyan also stressed Armenia’s commitment to expanding and strengthening multifaceted ties with the EU to enhance capabilities across various sectors.
António Costa welcomed the Armenian government’s efforts to strengthen democracy and implement institutional reforms. He reiterated the EU’s commitment to deepening cooperation based on shared values and strengthening the partnership in all areas.
The two leaders also discussed the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, regional connectivity projects, and Armenia’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative.
Additionally, Costa praised Armenia’s peace-oriented initiatives and steps toward regional stability.
Pashinyan will attend the official opening of the Munich Security Conference and hold several bilateral meetings with international partners.
