Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during a cabinet meeting, responded to criticism from opposition members by asserting that "those who speak are the corrupt ones," adding, "let’s not say who it is about, although we all understood—it’s about Robert Kocharyan."
He referred to allegations from the opposition suggesting embezzlement of funds from the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. Pashinyan reminded that a parliamentary investigative commission was formed to look into these claims, led by an opposition representative. “Where is the conclusion?” he asked. “Once again, some corrupt individuals are making accusations—let’s not name names, though we all understood it’s about Robert Kocharyan.”
“Wasn’t Artsvik Minasyan the head of that commission?” Pashinyan continued. “So where is the report? Let them write and sign it, stating that there was theft. Then we’ll know what to do—take the matter to court and make them argue the opposite.”
He stressed that a lawmaker from the Armenia faction is obliged to explain what findings were made and why the commission’s report has not yet been released.
