The Yerevan Youth Orchestra will participate in the Berlin-based Young Euro Classic festival, one of the most prestigious international platforms for classical music. This news was shared on Facebook by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
Prior to their departure, the orchestra performed the same musical program for a local audience in Yerevan under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan.
“These young people already perform on Armenia’s finest stages. On August 2, they will represent our city and country at one of the most respected international music platforms—the Young Euro Classic festival in Berlin,” Avinyan wrote.
He emphasized that the orchestra is a prime example of what can be achieved when a city invests in education, culture, and child development. “These young musicians have already become Yerevan’s ambassadors through their talent and art,” the mayor added.
