Italian folklore festival to feature Artsakh culture

A cultural program will feature Artsakh ensembles at an Italian festival backed by UNESCO.

The Center for the Preservation of Artsakh Culture NGO has received an official invitation to participate in the folklore festival taking place in Italy from July 25 to August 24, 2025. The event is organized by CIOFF — the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Traditional Arts — in partnership with UNESCO, reports Panorama.am .

"After the recent war and forced displacement, our center became the only organization that consistently continues to represent, preserve, and promote Artsakh's culture, regardless of all challenges.

As part of this initiative, a joint cultural program is being prepared featuring the State Orchestra of National Instruments of Artsakh and the State Dance Ensemble of Artsakh. The goal is to represent Armenian culture with dignity on the global stage.

This participation marks another step in the path of preserving Artsakh's identity and cultural resilience," stated the NGO.
