3.2-magnitude quake felt in Vardenis, nearby villages

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in Azerbaijan on July 31 at 00:13 local time (20:13 GMT, July 30), according to Armenia's Seismic Protection Territorial Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The earthquake's hypocenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers.

In the epicentral zone, the quake reached a magnitude of 4.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Rescue Service, the tremor was felt in the town of Vardenis and the villages of Sotk and Kut in Armenia's Gegharkunik Province, where it registered a magnitude of 3.

The quake was recorded at geographic coordinates 40.17⁰ N latitude and 46.15⁰ E longitude.
