The Armenian government has decided to sell its 20% stake in the Viva Armenia company for $50 million, according to a report by Armenpress.
The decision was included in the agenda of the government's non-reportable matters during its recent cabinet session.
Specifically, the government has authorized the Prime Minister’s Office to sign a share sale option agreement with Viva Armenia’s shareholder, Fedilco Group Limited, on behalf of the Armenian government.
In February 2024, Viva Armenia had donated 20% of its shares to the Armenian government.
