The U.S. Embassy in Armenia has announced changes to the eligibility rules for obtaining a visa without attending an interview.
Starting September 2, 2025, new conditions will apply for the U.S. visa interview waiver program.
Applicants for a new B-1, B-2, or B1/B2 visa (valid for ten years) may apply without an interview if their previous visa expired within the last twelve months and they were at least 18 years old at the time of receiving that visa.
Applicants under the age of 14 or over 79 must attend an in-person interview with a consular officer.
