Within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The two leaders discussed the Armenia–Azerbaijan peace agenda, stressing the importance of constructive dialogue, mutual trust, and regional stability. Both emphasized the positive momentum shaped by the recent Washington summit, which reflected international support for advancing peace and normalizing relations.
The sides agreed to continue their contacts.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is on a working visit to China with his wife, Anna Hakobyan. He has met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. During the visit, the prime minister will also take part in the SCO+ format meeting and related events.
