The Investigative Committee of Armenia announced that during a criminal investigation conducted by its Main Department for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling, it was revealed that a company engaged in wholesale and retail trade of construction materials had underreported its sales turnover between 2021 and 2024, thereby underpaying taxes owed to the state budget.
As a result of investigative and evidentiary actions carried out within the case, 250 million drams in damages caused to the state have been recovered.
The preliminary investigation continues.
