Head of Armenia’s ECHR defense office dismissed

According to the government decree, Diana Leonidi, head of the Department for the Defense of Armenia’s Interests at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) within the Office of the Representative on International Legal Matters, will be relieved of her duties starting September 15, 2025.

The decision cites Articles 16 and 37 of the Law on Civil Service as the legal basis for her dismissal.

Earlier, it was announced that Artyom Sujyan had been appointed as the new head of the Office of the Representative on International Legal Matters, replacing Liparit Drmeyan, who was dismissed from the position.
