The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) forecasts that consumer price growth in Armenia will remain within the Central Bank’s target range of 3±1%, according to the bank’s latest weekly macroeconomic report.
The report notes that inflation reached 3.7% in September 2025, up from 3.6% in August. The main driver was food prices, which rose 5.8% in September compared to 4.9% the previous month. This trend, the report states, reflects global fluctuations in food commodity markets, as reported by Sputnik Armenia.
At the same time, inflation in the services sector declined to 2.8%, down from 3.2% in August. A similar trend was seen in the non-food segment, where inflation dropped to 0.9% from 1.1% the previous month.
“We expect inflation in Armenia to remain within the Central Bank’s target range of 3±1% this year,” the report says.
Earlier, the bank projected that Armenia’s GDP will grow by 5.5% in 2025, 5.3% in 2026, and 5.0% in 2027, according to its macroeconomic outlook.
