Tigran Gabrielian, former Deputy Minister of Environment, has been appointed head of the Shengavit administrative district in Yerevan. The announcement was made by Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a city hall executive meeting.
“We have a new appointment—Tigran Gabrielian has been named head of Shengavit District in Yerevan,” Avinyan stated, wishing the new official success in his role, according to Panorama.am .
Following Hambardzum Matevosyan’s appointment as Minister of Environment, Gabrielian was the only deputy minister not reappointed. Two months later, he has taken over as district head.
