Armenia welcomes Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s statement regarding the lifting of all restrictions on cargo transit into Armenia, Prime Minister’s spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan announced on Facebook.
“This step holds significant importance for the opening of regional communications, strengthening mutual trust, and institutionalizing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan — in line with the agreements reached in Washington,” Baghdasaryan wrote.
Earlier, President Aliyev had declared that Azerbaijan had removed all limitations on the transit of goods to Armenia.
