US State Department highly appreciates Armenia’s efforts towards combating trafficking

In 2008-09, Armenian government took special measures towards conducting more active fight against trafficking, increasing effectiveness of preventive measures, and providing assistance to victims. Under US State Department’s annual report published on June 16, Armenia was estimated to have registered certain progress and risen from the Tier Two Watch List.
