Armenia has many times assured of its concern in the reconstruction of the Abkhazian sector of the Transcaucasian railway. Armenian president Robert Kocharian stated on completion of his formal visit to Georgia on Saturday. In his words, functioning of this railway will be profitable not for Georgia and Armenia only but for the whole region as well. To remind, due to the agreement achieved in Tbilisi the other day the Russian-Georgian expert group will examine the condition of the Abkhazian railway. At the same time the Georgian party abides by its position concerning the simultaneity of processes of the railway reconstruction and return of the Georgian refugees to the Abkhazian Gali region.
