General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces declared about freezing military ties with France. As reported by “Mediamax” agency, the decision was made after “Reporters without frontiers” organization operating in Paris included chief of the Turkish General Staff Huseyin Kivrikoglu in the list of “the enemies of the press.” French military attaché in Ankara is already notified about freezing relations, including those in the sphere of military industry. This is not the first time when Turkey freezes military ties with France. Ankara did the same last year, when the French parliament passed a resolution on recognition of the Armenian genocide.
