The electoral commission of Shirak district has passed a decision to register candidates for Parliament deputies for the 67-th district. At the district additional elections member of «Democratic Fatherland» opposition party, village headman Vardan Makeyan, member of Dashnaktsutyun party unemployed Hakob Matilian, editor of «Tsayt» Gyumri independent TV company Artur Kirakosian, Meghrashen village elder Ruben Harutyunian and leader of Pokr Mantash village community Gegham Hakobian will compete with one another. The latter three are non-party men.
