Vladimir Putin: Turkey may become the main transit country while supplying Russian gas to Europe

“We plan to shift transit country for our further energy supplies to Europe from Ukraine to Turkey,” Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin noted at the meeting with Valdai Discussion Club participants. Focusing on the role of Turkey in Russia’s energy policy, Putin noted that Turkey may become the main transit country while supplying Russian gas to Europe, The Moscow Times reported.
