Armenian President Robert Kocharian signed the decree on dismissal of Paruyr Hairikian from the post of the head of Commission on human rights. Earlier Paruyr Hairikian had substantiated his request for resignation with the intention to take an active part in the political life of the country before the forthcoming presidential and parliamentary elections in Armenia.
