Average salary in Armenia totaled AMD 98 369 in January-September 2009, thus increasing by 12% against the last year’s index.
According to the National Statistical Service, the salary in government-financed organizations increased by 16.9% and made AMD 81 788 per month. In private enterprises the salary grew by 8.3% and totaled AMD 122 177.
