WHEN WE BECOME INDEPENDENT, WE WILL BE READY TO COOPERATE WITH ALL COUNTRIES OF REGION AND FIRST OF ALL WITH AZERBAIJAN, STATES NKR PRESIDENT

When we speak about independence of Nagorno Karabakh, this does not mean that we wish to raise a fence between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan, NKR’s President Arkady Ghukasian has stated in Yerevan today. We realize that it is impossible for any country in the region to develop separately and after we become independent we are ready to cooperate with all the countries of the region and first of all with Azerbaijan, NKR President noted. Meanwhile, today according to him, any attempt of Azerbaijan to take Karabakh under its control might result in a new war. A. Ghukasian considers any distortion of remaining military balance in the region of Karabakh conflict too dangerous.
