Robert Kocharian, who is in Bratislava with an official visit and President of Slovakia Rudolf Shuster have discussed a wide spectrum of economic and political issues today. The heads of the two states have noted that there are no political disagreements between Yerevan and Bratislava but the economic cooperation is not developed and that results in the lack of contract-legal basis. The heads of the states have assured that preparation work is held in this direction. Regarding Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement the President of Armenia has noted that Nagorno Karabakh has all the legal fundamentals in order to be recognized an independent state. The only problem is NKR’s «civilized divorce» from Azerbaijan that was perfectly demonstrated by Czechia and Slovakia. While speaking about the 1915 genocide of Armenians, the President of Slovakia has promised not to hinder from holding events on April 24 dedicated to the memory of the genocide victims in future.
