At June 28 in Tsalk region which become the center of disturbances were input the additional police units. Police will ensure unimpeded beginning of the pipeline building. However, arriving of armed police only sharpened the situation. Tsalk inhabitants Armenians and Greeks joined with Georgians, Borjomi dwellers. Borjomi dwellers have worried about threatening of their well-known, unique nature environment.
Landowners could not stand not only for forcing to stop farming during the building time. It is obvious that in future their owners rights will not be kept intact, because the pipeline security representatives will come at any time they want. Moreover, that inconvenience by no means will compensate. The construction sponsors wish to cut down the term of lease only for pipeline mounting time. After the end of pipeline construction landowners will be allowed to use their farms, but they will be restricted by all possible liabilities, connected with the pipeline security. It is absolutely incomprehensible for landowner to think of such problems, especially if they are fraught with the catastrophic accidents. Peasants’ discontent could be more restrained, if we have any guarantee of project perspectives.
