The social conditions of Nakhichevan population are catastrophic. The local press writes “people survive only because the village shops still agree to give products on credit.” The situation was further aggravated by the fact that recently the participants of the Karabakh war, most part of whom lives in poverty, were deprived of facility in accordance with the Government’s decision. Most of them buy a one way ticket. Javadov says many families get news from Turkey their breadwinner has been arrested.
